AFL Finals Week Two – Fixtures, Preview & Betting

This weekend the MCG will host the semi finals of the 2010 AFL Season, as another two sides drop out of the running of making the Grand Final.

There are two tough fixtures scheduled – one of which seems simpler to pick than the other – so if you would like to compare Australian odds, then head online to today!

Reining premiers Geelong will bounce off the semi final action as they take on Fremantle on Friday night, looking to rectify the shocking loss to St Kilda last weekend.

The Cats are the favourites for the win, while Fremantle have an uphill challenge ahead of them considering their lack of experience compared to their opponents.

The second semi final will see a much closer affair as the Western Bulldogs take on the Sydney Swans on Saturday night.

Despite finishing in the top four the Bulldogs are the slight outsiders for the win, with the in-form Sydney outfit looking threatening.

The Bulldogs suffered a huge loss to Minor Premiers Collingwood last round, while the Swans topped off a great few weeks by ending Hawthorn’s season.
