2009 Richmond Tigers Team

In 2009, skippered by Chris Newman, the Tigers looked to be improving as a whole unit, added to by the strength of new recruit Ben Cousins – although started slow, similar to this season. Coach Terry Wallace stepped down from his role which he had maintained for four years, and the Tigers escaped the wooden spoon finishing one spot away from the bottom in 15th.

While the Tigers look stronger this year – they could still do with your help, and as many of the 2009 squad still play in the black and yellow, why no check out our Bet on AFL page, then head to Ladbrokes.com.au to give Richmond the support they deserve!
